- Withdrawal into fantasy worlds.
- Sexual promiscuity.
- Not wanting to go home.
- Poor or deteriorating peer relationships. The abuser tends to try to keep the sexually abused child socially isolated from other children.
- Unwillingness to participate in physical / recreational activities.
- Fear of adults.
- Siblings jealous of child chosen by parent.
- Blurring of generational lines.
- Parent often alone with one child.
- Favoritism.
- Overly protective parent + try to isolate.
- Sudden onset of anxiery, fear, depression.
- Social isolation.
- Truancy.
